Vocational Education and Training refers to enhanced senior school studies, which enable a secondary student to combine their Senior School studies with vocational training.
The IMVC is a not for profit incorporated association established in 1998 to broker vocational programs for secondary schools in the Inner Melbourne region. As a key driver of vocational education the IMVC has generated a high level of co-operation and trust leading to well-developed collegial working relationships among various education providers, industry, youth service agencies and local government.
The IMVC facilitates relationships necessary for successful VET partnerships. Objectives, goals and expectations of each partner are mutually developed and agreed.  Programs are consolidated and resources shared to bridge the connection between academic learning and vocational training.
The IMVC brokers in excess of 30 VET programs from Certificate I to Certificate III on the AQTF framework.

Students enrolling in VET programs may wish to disclose a disability, mental health issue or an ongoing medical condition. IMVC Disclosure Form [.doc - 655KB]
