Student Learning Support can assist students with academic study and learning support in areas such as reading, essay preparation, exam preparation, research and more. They provide a range of services to support students across University. They can offer assistance in the following areas:

  • lecture note-taking skills
  • referencing
  • goal setting
  • research skills
  • exam strategies
  • time management
  • essay and thesis writing
  • learning and study skills
  • English as a Second Language
  • efficient and critical reading

Australian Catholic University

Provides a number of  learning support resources .

Deakin University

Provides information on a number of resources to develop  independent learning skills .

Contact details to speak with a  Language and Learning Advisor  are also available at the various campuses.

La Trobe University

La Trobe provides a large number of  resources  to assist with student learning. La Trobe has  Academic Language and Learning Units  to assist with learning skills and assignments.

Monash University

Monash provides a wide variety of  resources  to assist students.  Students can also contact learning skills advisors for further assistance.

RMIT University

At RMIT the Study & Learning Centre's Learning Lab  can assist with general academic study, writing and Maths skills through interactive tutorials and printable handouts.

Swinburne University

Swinburne University offers a number of  study support resources .

University of Ballarat

The University of Ballarat provides Student Learning Skills  to support students in becoming independent learners.

University of Melbourne

The  Academic Skills Unit  helps undergraduate and graduate students with academic writing, time and task management, oral presentations, exam preparation and English language development as well as conducting workshops and individual tutorials.

Victoria University

The Student Learning Unit  offers a range of options to support students in their studies.
