Responsible Service of Food (RSF)

Every student wishing to work in the Hospitality Industry and be involved in food preparation needs to undertake this course in basic hygiene principles. The program targets food handlers and focuses on correct storage temperatures, “danger foods”, personal hygiene, cleaning food preparation areas and pest control.
 
SCHOOLS HAVE A CHOICE OF TWO PROGRAMS
 
OPTION 1: RSF Accredited program $90 per student (15 minimum. 20max. students)
This one day program is delivered by a qualified trainer in a classroom setting. The school is required to supply data/overhead projector and access to a food technology kitchen training area for delivery of a practical session. Commercial kitchen facilities are not required. This course is accredited as Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures (THHGHS01B).
 
OPTION 2: RSF Non-Accredited program $45 per student (15 minimum. 20max. students)
This four hour program is delivered by a qualified trainer in a classroom setting. The school is required to supply a data/overhead projector. The course is non-accredited with the student receiving a Statement of Participation.
