Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Training covers serving alcohol responsibly, problems associated with excessive consumption, intoxication, drink spiking, effects of alcohol and strategies to prevent underage drinking. As part of the training, trainees complete SITHFAB009A Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Training is delivered by a qualified trainer for four hours at a venue organised by the institution or employer. The school is required to supply a TV, video player and overhead projector.
Cost per student:
$40 for IMVC member school
$50 for IMVC non-member school
(A minimum of 15 students is required to run the program)
Upon successful completion trainees receive a Certificate issued by Liquor Licencing and the Inner Melbourne VET Cluster (IMVC).
